Life wouldn't be the same without him

My Dad and Izzie,

Sunday morning two weeks ago I received a call from my mother.

She was calm and collected but wanted to let me know she was at the hospital waiting for my dad to have a MRI. He had something happen in the middle of the night where he felt a large jolt and warm tingle go through his body. He ended up falling back to sleep and when he woke up in the morning, he felt very confused. My mom explained that he came in and asked her where his shaving kit was? She went into the bathroom to help him look for it and it was on the bathroom counter. He then came in a little later and asked her to help him find his toothbrush and he was holding it in his hand. He knew something wasn't right and kept saying he was so confused. She drove him to the hospital. After several tests and a few hours later it was determined he suffered a Stroke.

Stroke or cerebrovascular accident (CVA) is the rapidly developing loss of brain functions due to a disturbance in the blood vessels supplying blood to the brain. This can be due to ischemia (lack of blood supply) caused by thrombosis or embolism, or due to a hemorrhage.

He has been told by Doctors that he should be able to get back everything he has lost. Now that time has gone by we have seen great progress. So now he seems back to normal.

From the title of my post I will tell you all that we would not be the same without him. This has been a very upsetting situation for our family and we all are so happy things are OK. Life is so precious so don't sweat the small stuff.

Who pays the bills? Me, myself and I.
Who cooks dinner? The microwave, Big Apple Pizza, Cafe Rio, Taco Time, Pei Wei, CPK, Wendy's and Tate.
Who drives when you are together? Usually Tate, but I am known to drive here and there.
Who is more stubborn? Tate....Tate....oh and did I say Tate.
Who kissed who first? Tate kissed me but he had me begging for it!
Who asked out who first? If you don't know the story well...Tate loves to tell it. We worked for the same company so I would see him from time to time. His boss kept calling into the office one day and like the fifth time he did he apologized for calling so much and I told him that next time he should have Tate call me and so then Tate called me a few days later and said "hey I hear you wanted me to call you". I tried to deny it but Tate knew exactly what I had said. We talked for over an hour and then I asked him if he was going to take me out. he he (I could tell he liked me)
Who proposed? Tate of Course! It did take him 2years and 3 months but I was waiting.
Who has more siblings? We both have four. We both are middle children of five.
Who wears the pants? Tate....but I wear them when he is gone and then let him have them back when he's home.
